Power Cut But Traction Control Off

Hi Guys,

I have an issue with my Fg F6 (ZF).

Basically if I turn TC OFF, I still get power cuts, which feel like traction control kicking in.

I also noticed when I have it in Performance mode, If the power cuts occurs, the Centre Display ppops up with "performance mode" and then goes back to the speedi.

Has anyone experienced any issues like this. It is extrememely annoying and the car is not very enjoyable to drive hard due to this. I also feel it is down in power, could fouled spark plugs be causing this problem?

Yeah... Maybe a spark plug or a coil.

How many kms???

Dunno about the dash thing with performance mode... Is the dash showing TC off properly?

Has the car been tuned or is it still stock?

Does it happen at the same RPM?

If it's been tuned and happens at the same rpm every time, could be a torque tag setting somewhere.

If it's still stock, then coils and/or plugs would cause it.

Take it down to a workshop and ask them to plug a scan tool in and look for codes.

Hi guys, car is tuned, I havent noticed if its at the same rpm, I will be more aware of revs of when it happens. TC is definately off, as light is illuminated on dash.

So sounds like tourqe tag from tranny?
