I have a litle less to spend then you so im looking at the EF II XR6, Apart from the nose diff any other differences between the EF and EL XR6 s

The tail lights on EF's and EL's are also slightly different.

I have an EL XR6 which I've had since new. I would recommend it !

It has been a fantastic car. The only mods is a powerchip added at the end of the warranty & a camber kit (otherwise you'll keep chewing up front tyres).

This would have to be the only car I've ever owned that doesn't leak a single drop of oil.

Sorry, this one is not for sale, it's going to the wife when the BA XR6T eventually turns up.

The EF motor was distributorless - all timing electronically and two separate coil packs. The EL went back to a distributor setup. The EL had improvements to suspension geometry esp on the rear so they handled a bit better. Either car would make you a happy driver.

I currently own an EFII XR6 - IMHO a much better looking car than the AUXR6 so I'm not dissapointed I've skipped the AU and have a XR6T on order with a delivery date of April 22.

If your interested PM - 1996 EFII White, auto, CD player, tinted windows, towbar, full service history, 167,000km (outlaws in Southern Highlands, so lots a highway driving), always garaged in Canberra. $14500
