For those that are interested I thought I'd post the dyno sheet. The reason it goes off the sheet rich and comes back very quick and is a near perfect AF curve is the factory computer only being able to be mapped to 27psi, and in this instance starting the ramp early, we load the car up so it comes straight off the converter when dynoing ourselves. Its not a prob on the road or track.

Just on that, is it physically possible to fit a bigger turbo in?

Was concerned seeing a kid walk past the front of it when it was idling - expected it to suck the poor little bastard up against the bumper! :beerchug:

Absolutely awesome piece of machinery :greyscare:

Despite how big it looks, it fits quite nicely. We do a manifold to mount anything up to a GT55 under the bonnet with no strut tower mods. I think there is a few cars coming out in the next 12 months with GT47 or 55 size turbo's.

Looking at the timeslip, the car did it easy... well done to all involved.

Well done guy's, she is starting to come together, should be another car in the nines before to long by the looks, what was the rpm limit set at? must have been a hell of a lot of convertor slip, did the convertor still feel fine after the run?

I take it the cage is going in, that's why the four weeks?

The car definately didn't stay nice and straight, listen to the clip and hear the 3 pedals, the first 2 were avoiding driving into the wall :spoton: The back spacing is 5.5", 6" would probably be better, but not available in an 8. As far as rev limit anc onverter slip dave, the rev limit is hard cut at 7200, we would have bumped it up to 76-7800 but had a heap of other drama's we were working out with the ABS rings throwing codes and shutting the throttle so by the time we got to the lanes at 8pm didn't get to it. What diff gears do you run dave?? This thing has 3.7's in it being factory manual. Keep in mind that mile is getting off it around 1000ft when it completely closed the throttle on the limiter, that's not sitting on the limiter across the line lol.

As far as the cage goes, I'm not sure what Braydens plan is. I know he wants to take it out again before, but I'm not overly keen on pulling up from 150mph with no chute and stock brakes in a 1900kg car/driver, and the safety aspect of that sort of car and speed with no cage :w00t2:
