Oh, and just to correct you, the car went 10.086@128mph.Anyway, the car made it down the track for the first time, but not with out it's hassles.Kyle from 6Boost drove it, and drove it he did, having to pedal it pretty hard and then on the limiter at around 3/4 track. Time for some taller diff gears now.As the time sheet will show, this car is capable of much much quicker, as it ran 118mph to half track with that pretty big pedal job, and only driving it off the line with a lazy 1.8 60ft.And for all those that don't know, this car also punched out 982rhwp at the Elite Dyno day earlier today. Edit, yes this is running a C4... Edited 15/05/10 01:15 PM by Forcedfed6

What a busy week, and a big day!! We worked hard all week to get some impressive cars done for Elite's dyno day, which was absolutely killa btw!! We had dyno'd Brayden's car earlier on thursday, and put up 946rwhp on our "high" reading dyno with "low" barometric pressure, but didn't get a clean pass as we didn't want to stress the thing doing 20 pulls at 900+ hp, so the power potential was a little unknown with the 3 we did to get fueling, timing and boost in the right area. We were expecting mid 800's on Elites dyno, knowing its known to be a low reading dyno since being recalibrated a while ago, and with the correction in the negatives for the runs. We were gobsmacked to put up 984hp We knew all along that we'd run out of legs at the track tonight, but didn't get time to change gears, so it was a matter of run what ya brung. After oil downs all night, we also couldn't do a test pass to see how much it'd take off the line, so the first pass at 8.30pm and a cold track made me err on teh side of caution and let it go for a lazy 1.799 60ft. Not being my car as it veered towards the wall I pedalled it 3 times to half track, and went 6.5@118, and hit the limiter at 3/4 track, which the hard cut completely shuts the throttle. Anyone who knows their drag racing and time slips will be able to work out from the time card its got a low 9@150+mph in it. Alas, it wasn't to be tonight, so we'll be back in a few weeks All I can say, is 1000+hp feels like being kicked in the ass by a giant when it comes on, pure insanity! For anyone who thinks its a race car, the car was full weight, full exhaust, full interior, factory irs rear including axles but on C16, it gets driven every day when Brayden is home, and has done the round trip from Toowoomba to Mackay twice for his work in the mines (1500klm one way x 4), its the most driven potential low 9 sec car I know Big thanks to Paul and the boys from Elite for all your help and a great day, to Jamie from Forcedfed Performance for putting up with me every day and doin such a great job of our tuning, not to mention manifolds, to Spiro and all the boys who gave so much encouragement, and lastly to Brayden for the opportunity to build such a weapon and trusting me to drive it for you, a big congratulations goes out to you buddy, hope today made it all worthwhile Cheers.........................6BOOST Edited 15/05/10 02:16 PM by 6BOOST

It was redone by a local guy here in Toowoomba by the name of Trevor, he used to be part owner of A&T Automatics. Did a great job, has been faultless since going back in. I do have to say though, I'm gobsmacked its still in one piece, C4's simply don't handle 1000+hp in full weight cars reliably 6BOOST
