PSI40T Member 448 Member For: 18y 2m 14d Posted 15/05/10 08:25 AM Share Posted 15/05/10 08:25 AM Lately at random times ive been getting a ETC fault when putting the boot in.... for example the other day on the m4 when giving it a boot at like 80km/h the ETC fault popped up? what could be the cause of this?? car has been tuned.... never did this at the start, car has been tuned well over 7months ago from a very reputable tuner, the ETC fault has been coming up sporadically in the last couple of months??? It is more then likely a tune issue. It was something that was Found upon when FG first came out and the tuners who had invested in cars for testing would have found this issue quite common once the factory boost level was lifted( I was one of them). It is something that can be fixed in the tune file by your tuner if this is the cause of your problem.Like I said before the best way to test it is to flash it back to stock if the vehicle doesnt have injectors or exhaust mods.
