CJF077 The Noble Leader Administrator 4,786 Member For: 22y 2m 28d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Australia Posted 14/12/03 05:55 AM Share Posted 14/12/03 05:55 AM Must say a special thankyou to Antoinette aka MISSXR, fantastic job for organising the day, great food, great people.. it was once again a success However, on this note i must say im rather dissapointed once again that people say they are going to attend the function/bbq and do not.As you know events such as BBQ's need to be catered for, and buying the needed materials ie food/drink comes out of someone's pocket, recovering the cost of this and definently not making a profit is indeed fair by charging $10 per head for food which includes unlimited food/drink.When people say they will turn up and do not, the cost of these members is lost, in this case today we were down $50, which is unfair on the people who put money out of their own pocket to fund the event.I hope you understand where we are coming from, and hope this will not happen in the future. A simple no i cannot make it, or notice in advance is all it takes.. Once again.. thanks for the members who did come, I do apologise i had to leave earlier then everyone else, but once again enjoyed your company.Stay tuned for some really, exciting developments happening in the new year...
