I did not think that the old Maxxis were going to produce any decent numbers. The first pass was a waste of time. I wheelspun past 1/2 track, put it in 4th and pushed through for a 14.3 @ 115MPH 2.8s 60' !!The track got better and better throughout the night. I ran ... 12.8@121MPH, 12.2@122, 11.4@122, 11.5@123 all with a 1.9Xs 60' wheel-spinning as it come on boost off the line. Then finally, the last pass of the night I got a clean launch and ran a 11.2@124MPH 1.86s 60'. Close but no 10s pass. Not bad for the two year old 19" Maxxis. I was surprised how good they still are !!The auto feels strong, good firm changes into 2nd & 3rd. I'm looking forward to sorting out the wastegate, getting the extractors back on and put on some fresh rubber. It was good to see about 10 XR6/F6s out there having some fun. A few guys from the forum but I'm not sure how they ran !?! ...We should try organise a few forum drag nights. Who is up for it? You don't need to push to break records or do a pb every time you go out... just get out there, relieve some stress and have some fun.

I would love to go with some other people from here. I've never been drag racing before and I've got no mates that do it. So it would be good to have someone with me who knows these cars and knows the whole process at WSID.Do I need a ANDRA licence? and do I need to buy a helmet?
