Waiting for the clock substitute, but I must admit the in-dash one looks good. I guess it would feel safer if I knew what was involved in fitting a new dash part and bringing it back to standard if necessary. When I sold my nissan, a few bits had been "butchered", but none of the prospective buyers seemed to care as pristine, unadulterated spares went with the car. Most people want the extras but like to know an almost new car can be returned to standard without chasing parts etc.Regardszeke

Love to know what, when and what sort of price. good to hear all is good mate as for my mischief making in the auto after-market ... apart from a couple of seriously huge projects on the boil, there a number of side effects ... two of these being1) working on a bonnet and/or add on .....2) a panel insert with boost & fuel pressue at delivery gauges .....expecting Dec/Jan to public on these ... still in process of getting the pricing right while using quality parts :banghead: :banghead: pics soon ... hope there still is a market  oh ... the company motto "NO RICE AT ANY PRICE" all products are fully functional and the bonnet work is on the passenger side ...hmmm

Is the bonnet work on the passenger side to improve air flow into the engine? Do you think the car needs any ventilation to help it cool the turbo? Other smaller hoses have also split or frayed causing oil leaks.Bonnet ventilation is a must on the Turbo. We have been advised to use the smaller NSW Premium plate on the marked cars so the airflow is not restricted into the lower air dam. Additionally the fitment of driving lights has been stopped for the VY and BA due to the change in airflow into the radiator surrounds.
Guest 56Mainline Guests Posted 19/10/03 05:56 AM Share Posted 19/10/03 05:56 AM I've been searching for suitable bonnet venting for a while now, so I'll be interested in something designed specifically for the XR6T.Defininely think that venting above the turbo side of the motor is warrented. I see too much heat retained under bonnet in this area, causing increased surface temperatures on the intake ducting, fuse box, master cylinder, etc. These temps are probably all withing safe limits, but IMO are still too high! Posted 19/10/03 09:53 AM Share Posted 19/10/03 09:53 AM As I said, I saw a dyno increase from 206 to 223 rwkw (17rwkW) with this mod, using the stock XR6T filter element. Would be more with a better filter, but I dont know exactly what improvement. My dyno with the K&N was also done with the Xede processor installed.BLOAN, let us know how you go with your intake mod, hope it all goes well. Have completed this mod. & did notice difference both in increase in power & intake noise.Have two more pics to view. Hole opening not as uniform as would have liked but I think it will do the job. Seriously considering the added intake to our car very soon.Mainline, that boost gauge, looks awesome in my opinion, and classy too! (First boost gauge ive seen which lacks rice factor).May do some engine work in future, so a boost gauge would be handy, and I was wondering if ya could give us a pic from the drivers seat? Just to see what view of it you'd get while your driving? Would be much appreciated. Cheers - Psi_guy
