*Beep*, you wouldn't know or able to get the specs of the driveshaft, Just after diameter and wall thickness of tube. I assume it must be chrome molly (could even be carbon).

I bet you that these guys are using the Mod I detailed many years ago about not using the S3 and S4 solenoids in the BTR that everyone ignored .

Also these guys are just using gears 1 to 3 down the drag from watching the video. I think this is one very important factor in keeping it together.

This car does use 110 unleaded, 20% of the NOS is used approx 2 seconds into the run, the other 80% then gradually feeds in and its at 100% around 1/2 track.

Using NOS off the line would most likely kill the auto and the rest of the drive-line as yet no NOS off the start-line.

Thread title is incorrect as Dave (Blueboost) ran a 9sec pass in his BTR equipped BA prior to this :dontknow:

Well done to Dion from Dynomite & Andrew from Prweston's though... Top effort!!

You sure Dave had a BTR? I thought he ran a 9 with a powerglide but with a std BA motor & rear end...
