well my plans for my motor have taken a bit of a kick in the guts. I got layed off from work on monday so im in the process of finding another job.

hopefully I'll get he car back home and start pulling the motor out to get it ready for the FG block when the funds build back up again.

I'll put updates up when everything starts moving again.

I live in emerald and I handed in my notice on monday and have a new job. My boss is looking for someone to take my place, if you're keen to relocate to emerald? what are your quals?

LOL I was a crack tester (welds, castings, fabrications, construction etc) now I'm an underground miner! Big bucks, 5 days on 5 days off... more money, and more time with the kids (and car :stirthepot: )

well the motor is out and waiting to be taken into the tuners.

Im 99% sure on a Spool rebuild kit which includes rods pistons bearings and head gasket.

I've done some research on them and they seem all good.

If anyone has any experience with Spool could you please let me know good or bad :turboboink:

I sent an e-mail off to ARGO and got a reply saying that they supplied the rods for the V8's but none for the FPV FG F6. He seems to think that they are the same rod as the BF2, but cannot explain the different part number.
