Add to that gaskets, oil, filters, and a few broken bits when you do the motor I'd budget $4000, seriously. I think I added everything I had problems with to my thread that I linked at the start of this thread. Keep us posted and if ya get into trouble fitting it feel free to gimme a call, I can pm ya my number I need be.Good Luck, and let the fun begin! Boost69- I knew they had fordged internals but didnt know the where mahle and argos. ya learn something everyday.

Where did you get this info? If it's true MORE BOOST HERE I COME lol

Posted 13/05/10 04:14 AM Share Posted 13/05/10 04:14 AM hang on, are you just gonna wack this bottom end on your head? 9/10 times the head gets damaged when the motor blows....just make sure your head is all good to put back on and be used on this new bottom end. I wont be just chucking the head on and off we go. everything will be double checked before anything happens.as for the FG bottom end I have been told that the xr6T got the forged pistons and same rods as the BFII and the F6 FG has forged rods and pistons I dont know if this is correct or not.
