rumor has it that's its just 1 bloke collection got repo'd after his company went bust?

yeah it was something around that figure.

Not too sure if his company went bust but I heard it was having financial problems.

He owned alot of monaro's, one of each type made I think. He even had the monaro racecar that Brock drove in the bathurst 24hrs race a few years back.

I remember there was an add in the paper up here not too long ago advertising collectable holdens for sale.

I seen the 427 rock up to a Expensive Daewoo day they had on, drove in and parked. no-one even looked at it, it was so quiet

The guy is Chooka the Builder from Cairns. Apparently he went bust and they repoed his car collection.

It will be interesting to see what the HRT427 gets at auction, as it is a rare and desirable car that cheated its way to victory in the Bathurst 24hr.
