So are there any favourites for tuners amongst you guys...?

Would like to get in early and talk to them and book the 'coon in...

For bending stuff remember that leverage is your friend. The more you have the stronger you are. :icon_ford:

For tuners I go to bluepower and it might be pretty good for you because they are right off the hume (campbellfield).

I haven't had any experience with anyone else because I haven't had to change tuners.

You dont have to cut anything to fit the cooler. Just bend it. cutting it might get you in deep sh*t.

Hey Paul!..its been a while...how is it going mate? How is the car and cooler going?

Now that's what I was hoping to hear... have you got any tips for bending the reo that has been spoken about in this forum...?

It can most definitely be done!..it just takes some force to bend it out of the way. When I did mine, I lined it up and used a jaw grip wrench.

When it comes to tuners, from my experience it comes down to personal preference. Nizpro are good and they did a great job with my tune. Don't get me wrong, they definitely know their stuff and are arguably the best tuner for the BA/BF/FG range. In recent times however, I have been dealing with Pitlane and find their level of service more suited to my needs. Cannot comment on their tune (not yet!) however.

Cheers,

AJ

Hi AJ,

I haven't seen you on the forum for a while. You have a break?

The cooler is going strong. No issues at all.

How is your car going? I was hoping to see a build thread from you by now.

Hope to catch up again soon :beerchug:

Thank you very much for the help guys, I have been waiting since thursday last week for this cooler to be sent... tracked it on tnt and they have told me this

Status--------------------------Date------------Time----Depot

Electronically Lodged-----------05/05/2010------12:36---Enfield (Sydney)

Collected-Cust Premises (CIT)---06/05/2010------14:22---Sydney Mas. PRI

so far and can not tell you how anxious I am to see this. so my plan is to begin the small project this weekend.

I have removed my stereo so the plan is remove amps, fused dist. block and cap's from the boots custom false floor so it can now be used as a tool storage.

make up the clamp for the new workshop jack as the crappy little screw jack screwed its thread some how...?

join and modify the new sealed sub boxes so they fill the gap from the spare wheel hole to the back of the back seats.

mount the mono block amps under the 2 front seats.

mount the 4ch on the back of the new sub enclosure.

mount the uhf under the passenger seat with the extended handpiece lead that makes the hand piece accessible from the centre console.

re wire all the updated pioneer speakers and for that matter re wire the whole stereo...worst thing is I have to shorten the 0 gauge wiring. yay!

Plug a new set of switches to the switch panel for the boost gauge light, the neons and the uhf power supplies.

do what I have to do to fit this cooler once it gets back from the powdercoaters and while im under there an oil flush and filter change.

im so excited about the first drive after its all said and done!

so no doubt I will be back to chin wag with you guys over the next 4 days.

once again thank you for your help through this process.

yeah that was my original plan, but unfortunately out of 2 of my mates from here I have the same problem...one is a bluepower customer, the other is a nizpro...

from experience Nizpro are good.

so where abouts is nizpro, have you guys heard about rajabs work...they seem to be near bluepower, have we got tuners on this forum like I think someone said head sex...but am I right in saying that bluepower is closest and ... dont know,I have to go to melb as is so im not sure... sell me a tuner...lol!

so where abouts is nizpro

Nizpro is located in Bayswater and Pitlane is in Frankston...both S.E. Melbourne. Both have great knowledge with these cars. Like I said previously however, for me it came down to the customer service experience and while Nizpro are good, Pitlane goes one better IMHO...
