boost69 Donating Members 737 Member For: 19y 11m 12d Posted 04/05/10 02:46 AM Share Posted 04/05/10 02:46 AM Guys on cold starts ups there is a vibrating noise comming from under the bonnet near the tubo...when car warms up the noise goes away...the turbo boosts properly and makes no noise on boost etc...How can I pinpoint where the noise is comming from...if the turbo bearings were worn etc...would the turbo make a noise until the oil warms up etc...Anyone else had this problem?? Hopefully it is just the turbo bolts that are vibrating and stop when they warm up due to the metal expanding.
