Guys on cold starts ups there is a vibrating noise comming from under the bonnet near the tubo...when car warms up the noise goes away...the turbo boosts properly and makes no noise on boost etc...

How can I pinpoint where the noise is comming from...if the turbo bearings were worn etc...would the turbo make a noise until the oil warms up etc...

Anyone else had this problem??

Have you checked the bolts that hold the turbo to the manifold, also maybe take the intake pipe off the front of the turbo and see if there is anything unusual going on in there. Hopefully it is just the turbo bolts that are vibrating and stop when they warm up due to the metal expanding.

I had the same thing happen to me recently.I was hearing a tractor chug that was only noticeable when she was cold after a few minutes it went so I checked out the bolts and the bottom one was missing.Quick fix and everything is nice and quite again.

Cheers Fords Rule...
