Just get it rebuilt stronger, and you will be fine.

Guest Slash Guests Posted 03/05/10 05:32 AM Share Posted 03/05/10 05:32 AM Maybe on a stocker ... but with 350 at the wheel he's gonna need 5th ...I'm with paulie, let it cool down and see if it behaves itselfand get the bloody thing serviced!!Sorry mate, but your statement is incorrect.I was running more power than 350rwkw & never even came close to changing into 5th gear at the drags. Managed a 10sec pass & numerous 130mph+ runs & crossed the line around 5500rpm after changing at ~5200rpm through the first 3 gears.4th gear is < 1:1 & combined with the 2.73 diff ratio, there is potential for big mph without the need to change to 5th gear. When are you shifting for 1-2, 2-3 & 3-4 changes mate? Guest Slash Guests Posted 03/05/10 05:35 AM Share Posted 03/05/10 05:35 AM Also, what size tyres were you running, what's your rev limit set to & what was your half track mph?
