Hey that's a good idea Ken, only problem would be the beeping would drive you mad at the moment over here on Ennis Ave as there is about 20 speed changes in about 10 km due to road works :D

A better idea would be to install a high powered X-ray beam generator that is triggered by sensing the mulit-nova radar signal. This then emits a beam of x-rays aimed right at the camera fogging the film. Not only getting you off the hook but all the people photoed by that camera.

You would become the modern day Johhny Appleseed, just drive around zapping multi-nova's. Hell the Pope might even beautify ya, Saint Big Al .......hey I like that!!

When my 1998 Pulsar SSS was about 6 or so months old I took a drive on a stretch of road between Sydney and Yass (won't say where exactly) and it was practically straight and had a slight decent.

Well anyways, I was apparently driving along at about 115-120km/h and a bloke in an XR8 flew past me. I think to myself, "hrrrm, I'll catch him".. I then speed up and hit about 180km/h and slowly gain on him... Ajust to his speed of about 160km/h and put the hammer down.. I got upto 225km/h and just took the foot off.. the scenery was coming at me too fast, and I saw some more vehicles about 1km down the road.. was a rush, car stuck to the road.. not bad for a little jap car ;) That was the only time I apparently went that fast.

But nothing will beat the time I was in Germany. I was a passenger in an Uncles Nissan Bluebird and he was sitting on 180km/h.. then he says to me "have a look at this car coming up behind us" and a bloody merc (couldn't really see, was blurry) flew past, abviously at the 250+ km/h mark ;)

I may have done 184 driving across the Nullabour in a 2 litre Sigma. But that's impossible because I don't speed. I think it took me a week to get up to that speed though.

It's not the top spped that interests me so much, it's how quick you get there ;)

Oh what a joy to visit the NT.

Had a Magna rental and those damn things got more go than I thought. Ignition cutout at 215kmh indicated!

Wish I had the XR up there, but with so many "SADs" around, maybe not.

(SADs = See Australia and Die in territorian speak. Bloody everywhere. Worse than a plague of mosquitoes  )
