Psi To Power Comparison

Then once some better flowing mods get bolted on the tuners can up the power and retain or even lower the current boost level. Am I right?

15psi through a restrictive intake allows less air then a free flowing system.

eg. 2" pipe @ 15psi will flow a hell of a lot less air then a 3" pipe at the same compression.

It's not just about the compression of the air, but also how much air can be flowed through. My car @12psi with the HDi cooler would be combusting a lot more air then it would have been when it was at 15psi with the monza cooler cos more air gets compressed before it hits the boost level programmed in. More air = more fuel = bigger bang.

258rwkw @ 10psi: BMC filter, typhoon secondary snorkel, stock plugs, generic tune

since then I've put in a monza cooler and .8mm plugs. looking to get some 60lb injectors, fuel pump, 100cpi cat before getting a custom tune.
