First xr6 turbo I looked at, didnt like but they offered me 11k trade in for my ba xr6 non turbo which was good.

2nd one im like yeah around 10-11k trade in. I LOVED the car but they offered me 8k trade in sooo no go cant afford it.

Then I looked at like 10 more. And today I drive like an hour and a half to view a car which I was told to be in "show room" condition and I get there and its f*cked !.

Im never gna get a t :(

took me 3 months to find my T and I got a bargain I paid 20k for and 03xr6t with 62,000km on the clock in mint condition...dont stop looking and give it some time, over time I found more and more and luckily I waited and extra month cause the ones I was looking at had done over 100,000km for the same price :/

You need to focus on your changeover figure, sale price and trade-in value is all semantics and will be manipulated to try and make you think you're getting a ripper deal and to minimise the dealers GST (depending on the circumstances).

That fact you weren't happy with the first vehicle probably had something to with both the inflated sale and trade-in prices.

...will definately be upgrading to the FG XR6T ex chaser when they hit the auctions...

Plenty have passed through the auctions already selling at around the 25k mark. Have seen a number of them for sale at car yards for 29-33k.

if you are gonna mod then try to find one already done. they dont pull much more $$$ than stock. theres some nic cars from this forum popping up pretty cheap..... better to spend 5k more in the beginning than 15K after for the same thing.
