Alright members im not asking for an ear bashing as I know im an idiot. I got done for spinning my wheels across an intersection last friday night and the car was towed and impounded for 48 hours. The charge was "willfully create noise and smoke" and given a notice to appear in court. I live in queensland and this is my first ever offence of this kind. I was just curious as to what to expect as way of punishment. Just after peoples punishments that have been handed out in QUEENSLAND for a first hooning offence.

I'd recommend some proper legal advice mate, hooning charges are a criminal offence and call in about four different pieces of legislation. Not simply a case of here's your points and fine and on your way.

Yeah just as I thought. the punishment is really at the judges discretion. if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed im f*cked without my solicitor.

She's off the phone!

Get a solicitor, it's all up to the judge, if he gets some action the night before you may get off with a fine and a slap on the wrist, if he has his fluffy cat run over by a hoon in an XR6t when he's on his morning walk before work, expect him to take you car stuff your balls in the exhaust and crush them both... you'll never drive again.

On a serious note, being in the hands of the judge it's too unpredictable. Take your solicitor in there, let him talk for you, and let us know how you fare. Good Luck. :dontknow::beerchug:

I was under the impression that the first time was a fine and to have your car flagged as a hoon. 2nd time impounded and third time the car will be taken and crushed/sold at a police auction. my car is now flagged so I have to be careful.
