ba_xr6_turbo Member 31 Member For: 21y 7m 14d Gender: Male Location: Geelong Posted 21/04/10 06:35 AM Share Posted 21/04/10 06:35 AM hey all, I currently have an fg xr6t ute ZF. tune only running 268rwkw, now im looking at doing either PW or Plaz cooler/pipes/injectors/dump/cat now I know that should give or take 310-320rwkw dependant on tune ect. now ive been told by my tuner I need to do valve springs due to valve float. ive noticed not many people doing them on the fg's and its going to cost an extra $1,200 fitted to do them. anyone else done them ect..... In a good way.The FG has an all new head design. The block has different engine mounting positions to the BF. I know many people don't change them and many tuning shops say you don't "need too"..But it's the don't "need to" that I worry about... Better to be safe than sorry...
