Climate (Lack Of) Control

My ute has 3300ks on it now and everything is sweet, I love it.

My only gripe or concern with it is when I have the climate control set on low (below 18).

The drivers side blows cold air and the passenger side blows warm, nearly hot air. It does this even when set on 22 degrees.

Is it trying to find the right temperature or is something else going on?

And occasionally the screen comes up with ipod not compatible but I think that is an ipod issue.

I'm sorry if I have posted this in the wrong forum.

Cheers. Layton =)

It's a female friendly climate control, you can have your side nice and cool without your lady friend complaining it's too cold, brilliant.

Id say its an actual problem as it should mix the air and have a set temp coming out of all the vents. Maybe there is some random thing heat the pipe the air flows in before coming out.

Its a real issue mate - bad batch of HIMs. Back to the dealer for you - make sure all they do is replace your HIM. Should not be any questions asked - dealer is full of it if there are.

Its the interface module that controls which vents are open and closed. Basically when you push recirc, or screen, or face, or whatever, it moves the flaps in the HVAC to make the air come out the right vents. It lives in the centre of the dash just next to where your passenger's right foot would be. Yours is a little confused about the positions of the vent doors, and hence its gone a bit skew-wiff

I picked up my new FG F6 last Friday and had to return it the next day because of climate control issues. A/C worked randomly on and off, and similar problems to what you described there. Pick it up Wednesday when I finish work and see what they say...

Air conditioner was over charging.. freezing up pipe from condenser to firewall. They bled off some gas, re-filled it and seems to work ok now.. :censored:
