Layton Member 31 Member For: 16y 12d Gender: Male Posted 18/04/10 12:25 PM Share Posted 18/04/10 12:25 PM My ute has 3300ks on it now and everything is sweet, I love it.My only gripe or concern with it is when I have the climate control set on low (below 18).The drivers side blows cold air and the passenger side blows warm, nearly hot air. It does this even when set on 22 degrees. Is it trying to find the right temperature or is something else going on?And occasionally the screen comes up with ipod not compatible but I think that is an ipod issue.I'm sorry if I have posted this in the wrong forum.Cheers. Maybe there is some random thing heat the pipe the air flows in before coming out.

Gotta take it into Ford to get it fixed.

Should not be any questions asked - dealer is full of it if there are.

bunna Donating Members 813 Member For: 18y 4m 20d Posted 21/04/10 03:04 AM Share Posted 21/04/10 03:04 AM Its the interface module that controls which vents are open and closed. Basically when you push recirc, or screen, or face, or whatever, it moves the flaps in the HVAC to make the air come out the right vents. It lives in the centre of the dash just next to where your passenger's right foot would be. Yours is a little confused about the positions of the vent doors, and hence its gone a bit skew-wiff

A/C worked randomly on and off, and similar problems to what you described there. Pick it up Wednesday when I finish work and see what they say... They bled off some gas, re-filled it and seems to work ok now..
