Random sides just keep blowing. When I install them I wear gloves and be sure to try and not touch the globe, any suggestions on this problem?I have heard it may be because I have a lowered car... but not too sure why?Sick of forking out money for these globes. Thanks

Maybe think about fitting a HID kit, this will get rid of the tungsten filament that is in halogen globes.Other then that, make sure you are fitting the globes securely in the headlight to try to reduce the vibrations.Cheers,Ben

My ute is still standard ride height. If they blow again I will be changing brands.Adam Edited 17/04/10 09:44 PM by Mes83

I bought another set, bam 10 months later the were blown. I think phillips are crap and this is a very common problem for there automotive globes. doesnt matter if your car is lowered or not. they are crap so I bought a HID kit and 4 years later still goin strong. highly recomend doing this, and if you do 6000K is perfect for whitish blue light. if not standard globes are you next best friend.they last forever. If not, I will buy one. Or can you just wire them up yourself?

I have had 4 x new Falcons for 4 years each and have never lost a headlight bulb (touch wood) It can be the same as normal house lights, you get cheap (name) brands and they blow quickly. You pay extra for the "long life" ones and they last uears and years. It's gotta be the same formula.
