Jeshua Member 21 Member For: 14y 9m 29d Posted 27/04/10 06:35 AM Share Posted 27/04/10 06:35 AM (edited) I bought an XR6T ute a couple months ago when I was 18. Decided to go with "Just Car"Paid 20k for it. They insured me no worries. Im covered for 24.5k. My Excess is 3 grand however. Premium was $1800. Brother insured his twin turbo v8 monaro and hes 21. Only cost him $1600 in premiums a year. Was quoted up to $4000 by some places. All going soundly so far. Be interesting to see what happens when I make a claim, they could be bastards when it comes to claiming, who knows. They also have the option of paying monthly, works out to 2.2k a year. When I bought the ute I didnt have that sorta cash spare. So I did 2 months insurance for $183 a month till I could afford to pay the full $1800 for a years insurance.I can highly reccommend Just Car.Good Luck Edited 27/04/10 06:38 AM by Jeshua

What's the world coming to, no wonder young drivers are killing themselves weekly by the multiples. Your brother is probably illegal too. I can't believe these insurance companies insure illegal drivers.. Am I missing something here?? How?

No hire car, no window replacement etc. with 550 excess. You must be old. Anyway continually listing mods with my insurer would do my head in.
