it was previously tuned by blacktrack performance in newcastle and the last 2 times by hi torque performance on the gold coast. As I said im really happy with the guys at high torque they are always nice and obviously have an awesome reputation after creating alot of monsters :). I think there was just a little mis understanding when I dropped it off for a tune the last time. we will soon see if I can get more out of the old girl. Only 1 more mod on the list to do then im done with the car!

hang on, hitorque are pretty good and have some monsters on here. So they obviously know what they are doing. Whack it up to 16psi and 60lb injectors. Then come back with results.

I wouldnt be bumping it up to 16psi on a stock bottom end.. sorry *Beep*..

I think 14psi would be a safe option in winter as a street tune as you are going to run around 1psi more in this colder weather now on the street.

a 16psi tune for dyno days and drags is ok, but I wouldnt risk it on the streets everyday.

your gearbox will give up the ghost in a hurry. if you can pay for that and a rebuild... go nuts!!!!

im on my 6th 4speed!

I would also be getting turbo modified to control boost unless you have done that already...

I would be expecting around 330rwkw tops.

I agree with The_Bogan, but if you are happy with your tuner stay there. Any tuner can give you a number, im happy with my tuner as I get reliability and drivability, last thing you want is 330rwkw and drives like a pig. For example when I had 260rwkw I beat a bf with "apparently" 310rwkw tuned elsewhere (I do not condone street racing) . Take it to the track mate.

from 13 to 15 you should see bout 326-328 is my guess :D

Bogan, to be honest, I wouldnt recommend pushing past stock on a BA bottom end. But, everyone does it. You cant say 15 is safe, cause nothing is safe past 300 these days lol. And then again everythgin comes down to the tune. And your gbox will depend on the torque (and reduction) + shift pressure. Tell your tuner to look into those. Ive learnt that fron headsex the hard way....2 gbox's later with the AVO tune.

But 15 is a decent number to go on with a 12psi actuator attached. So keep us posted and GL :P

I cant agree more... I spent $3200 on exhaust system and $3200 on plenum battery and cai... plus labor to fit and tune it twice.. cant say how disappointed I am with spending close to $10k for 5kw :(

It's all well & good saying you only picked up 5rwkw, but how much did you gain in the mid-range & low down?

I daresay they tuned it safely because they didn't want you coming back 15mins after you picked it up complaining about a rod sticking outside the block or a dead auto. If you want serious power & to be able to get the most out of your mods you'll have to either think about upgrading to a BF or sticking a BF engine/C4 auto conversion in.

Did you have a power run on the same day with the existing mods? Climate & the way it was strapped down the first time may have affected the figure, meaning you may have picked up more than 5rwkw.
