This is frustrating as the car revs out and prematurely shifts into 2nd gear. I have 20" dark Argent wheels with 245/35 Pirelli PZero tyres but they do not seem to grip! Has anyone else experienced this problem or do I just have a freak car? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks! F6's are pretty powerful so learn the power I guess. maybe the guys with F6's would have some ideas as to how their dealing with it. iv never had this prob so im out of ideas. I have brand new Pirelli tyres which are supposed to be one of the best for performance. Traction control is ON. The real problem is premature shift into 2nd gear when the car revs out before traction control kicks in...

But .Mate with traction control off I will be sliding around like an ice skater! Pretty scary stuff in a powerhouse like the F6. Thanks anyway. Wait till have your car tuned.... Stupid 245 series tyers... They really needed wider rims with 265-275 standard. Ben

Flat shift and she burns well into 3rd. Wont hit the limiter in 3rd but wouldnt be far off. F6 would smash through 3rd if its a manual I would only assume. FG's are a whole new ball game compaired to the B series as far as a factory car is concerned. Its not just your car, its the type of car you bought.I dont think you have to ease the power on, just dont flatten it, I can launch at about 2g really nice and keep the pedel down 70%ish and get a really nice pull though first, cant seem to get a quick 2nd change without traction issues. First gear is probably a bit high for the new smaller fgt turbos. But ay, it makes good fun.

Besides, wheel spin rocks. I used to love skating to 120kph in my old F6

I have actually tried taking off the mark low revs and gradually building up throttel to 70%ish, and still can't grip. Damn frustrating. Your're right about the tryes - FPV should have fitted 265/275 standard. Not sure why they didn't as my experience shows they are not even close with 245s. You would think manufacturers of a jet would know they need to fit the aircraft with wings (o: So beats me why FPV have offered 310 kW if you just can't use it off the mark. I have read reviews that the F6 should reach 0-100 km/hr is about 5.0 s flat, but with the way my car drives I'd be lucky to get there in 15...Anyway I will try wider tyres, but I hear there is not enough room in the rear guards, which will be yet another issue.Cheers, Darol. Yes fun, but frastrating when the Clubbies are at the lights with you and you just wanna educate tehm a little (o: I used to have a VE R8 (yes, that's right) before converting to the FPV F6 and the R8 had awesome traction with the Bridgestone 275s. That's really what we need on our cars for take off. We's easily beat HSV in a burnout, but I'm just not confident off the mark due to lack of traction. A pitty, all that beaute power, but just can't delvier it to the ground. Happy smoking man (o:
