Spoke to a person today...who told me the the falcon isn't dead...but going to be built in the usa and exported to australia...With the victoria being the only rear wheel drive ford family car and being dropped...The new falcon will take its place...the only changes are that it will built in the states and exported around the world..The first model from the states will be based on the fg falcon...as everyone agreed in ford that its the best package...

Has this been covered before.or has anyone heard the same.....icon_ford.gif

Believe it when I see it :beerchug:

If this was the case ford would have not just announced 31mill worth of changes/upgrades to their casting plant in Gellong

I read somewhere that there is a 2 litre 4cyl turbo Falcon being released, a nice joke that will be  . What a fu*cking embarrasment, and if it's true then the Falcon is dead, at least in sprit :spoton:

Reading in Herald Sun today, the XR8 is finished once the new regulations come in mid-year. Coyote 5l is for FPV only, XR8 is dead. Not surprised. I still don't think even the new V8 coyotes will outperform the XR6T or F6. We'll see. The supercharged version 320kw or so will still be lucky to go sub 5.0sec 0-100. I doubt it.
