Thanks for the feedback, guys - it's put my mind to rest. I'll bring it up when I take the car in for its first service, just to make sure, but I appreciate the responses. :stirthepot:

Mate. You arent being paranoid. Yoyhve paid a packet for an item and of course you will worry. I worry about every creak and groan. Having said that you do NOT wanto get in my car. The induction/exhaust/wind up/flutter/kids whinging/stereo blaring. Its a nightmare.

Mate If you are seriously concerned, pop back to your dealer and ask the service manager to come for a ride. He will quickly explain what noises should and should not be there.

We will take the piss but if you are worried, get someone who knows in the car to put your mind at rest.

Then get it tuned and sh!t your pants first time you floor it. :spoton::bowdown::bowdown::bowdown::roflmbo::roflmbo:

had my FG turbo for 8 months and way too scared to get it tuned!

So, I ended-up taking the car in for an early check-up (at 700km), and sure enough, my paranoia was justified.

The dealer found a lose hose that not only explained the whistling I was hearing, but the "sluggish" performance of the car (something I'd only started to notice a day or two before it went back in to the dealer).

Now just to deal with the shudder...
