Im not to sure what it is but to describe it for it sounds like a very light sort of poping/crackling sound, almost like the sound of boiling hot water. It sometimes sounds like a exhaust rattle but the other day I listened to it closley and as I went up on a steep drive way, the sound shifted as if it was liquid moving??? Its as if you were to rub togetehr a plastic lollie rapper together. My dealer told me he tightened the heat shield screws which did jack (standard) and the sound still lives...The car is an FG XRTAll help will be apprieciated Cheers! I have to get mine checked out but I think it was from me hitting the exhaust when I was reversing. only happened when I did that.
