Whats the limits of the standard valve springs, kw and psi?I got the car going in for a tune friday week to suit the current mods on the car at the moment, being nizpro stage 2 w/o valve springs as it was taken off a bf typhoon. I dont have 1000 bucks to do the valve springs, and I currently have a few things waiting on order to be payed for (surge tank, clutch, short shift, plugs etc) I just need to get it retuned for the time being as it is leaning out at very low revs (3500+), overboosting and is just running very rough since I put all the new gear on it. I would rather spend few hundred now than cause some serious damage as is it a daily driver. For all those saying get it done now, the standard ones are only a temporary fix, so I dont need people say oh just get them done now blah blah blah. The final tune + valve springs + everything else I said before will only be a couple of months off. Thanks

If so, can't see how it would be leaning out ... more like running really rich, you're lucky that it even started ... these things won't normally run in open loop with larger injectors.Try to avoid driving the car until it's calibrated to suit your mods, you are risking damaging your engine. Clutch, surge tank + new fuel pump, valve springs and a much more agressive tune so its not like they are not getting done, just postponed. The car made 144rwkw before the mods and idled poorly after the run because of the springs

I have the money sitting there but it will be departed very unwillignly. Hopefully they dont have to be replaced, but worst comes to worst they can be. It still wont let the power increase too much more as the clutch is another factor holding me back. Will update friday arvo on my result.
