I ended up modifying the original cluster to the FPV Fascia. Personally I cant understand why it would be so as the Oil Alarm is driven from the same CAN message on all B series according to the manuals, but there may have been a variation maybe later in the BF Series.But what I was saying with the BA Cluster, It will simply not work regardless as you will never receive an ABS or Brake Fail alarm on your cluster if you install a BA cluster into a BF. A BA Clusters ABS and Brake Fail lights are hardwired and 12V is applied to the inputs from the ABS/Brake system when they fail.Now because the BF's ABS communicates to the PCM etc via the Can or ISO bus (cant remember which) the ABS/Brake fail alarms are driven from messages sent to the cluster and are not hardwired. BF wiring will not have the ABS/Brake fail wiring to the cluster. Mind you a BF cluster can be fitted to a BA as with the BF Cluster there is a programming feature that allows you to switch from BF style to BA.I hope this makes things a bit clearer.Matt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
