Go to Auto Excess in Coburg. Not really in the SE but they will fix it right the first time. I used to have a clunk in my ute and they even went to the trouble of chopping my cat and extending it for more length. Then did exactly the same to a brand new cat and sent it away as a template. Bit of R&D.

If you have an xforce exhaust then they will love you even more.

I haven't heard my exhaust knock since.

I didn't plan on mentioning names, but they are they guys who have fit up my car in the first place.

They did sort out the rear knocking, rubbing and ruined upper heat shield, but they didn't pick this up..

They've had my car there a number of times, not sure if I really want to go back there with this in mind. Plus it is a long way to go for something hopefully so simple lol :innocent:

Yeah I know what you mean, driving to bpr form se is bad enough.

I haven't really had any experience with other exhaust shops. There is a place in dandenong (forgot the name) that a few others take their car to get mufflers removed. They are pretty cheap and do good work.

Plus the owner has an FG turbo ute so he is familiar with our cars.

Maybe someone else knows the name. He’s on cheltenham rd.

Yep, I love BPR and would happily drop by when the need arises, but its a PIA to get to from the SE suburbs.. don't even get me started on peak hour traffic going that way either! :stirthepot:

I am happy to drop by some local places, but need some direction guys; I know of no good local exhaust places.
