sexual harrassment panda I see a red door and I want to paint it black Donating Members 5,919 Member For: 15y 4m 8d Gender: Male Location: Far north queensland Posted 07/04/10 10:45 PM Share Posted 07/04/10 10:45 PM Just rang AAMI up because my bill was almost due and I hadn't told them about the latest round of mods. I was a bit nervous as only a couple of months back I'd had to make a decent claim - but I'm rating 1 for life. The bill $759 was before I told them about the intercooler kit and they didn't have on their system that it had been tuned. So I told them all that and they guy asked if I could answer a few questions, where I park during the day/night etc. New bill $721, plus I get a no claim bonus. :o

When I told them of my mods, I relayed it all in detail over the phone, then when they sent me confirmation in writing, half of the stuff id told the girl wasnt on there, AND it said I had a SUPERCHARGER on the car... So, just wait for the policy amendment in writing.

It will in all likely hood sit on their records as other. Just get them to put it in black and white. They can do it
sickd Member 128 Member For: 17y 4m 18d Posted 08/04/10 09:35 AM Share Posted 08/04/10 09:35 AM that's good news, they dont care about anything anymore except where you live and the car MUST BE ROADWORTHY AND LEGAL, I rang about 20' wheel on my car and they did not care as long as it was road worthy.so as long as the parts and mods on your car are road worthy it is fine.if I put supercharger on my xr8 I would need to get it engineered and then it be legal, now if I did not get it engineered insurance company would still take my money but wont pay outif I stack.
