I put mine on a few weeks ago.

Meh is all I'll say... Nothing quite like rapid/plazmaman/pw alloy boxes.

The fibreglass crap really muffles it.

How about for the FGT?

Would upgrading to the XR8 box with a pod make it sound any different to the standard box n pod?

xr8 box n pod + rapid's Fg Replacement Intake Pipe http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=68181 would this sound decent? would a flash tune make it sound better??

I can vouch for the Process West one. I've got their airbox set up where the battery was, with a stainless pipe from pod to turbo. Sounds like a jet taking off... Love it. And after venting the stock BOV for a bit, I decided to plumb it back with some heater hose. So now the BOV isn't WRX noisy, and sounds sweet on throttle. So sounds the goods to me!

With turbo side cai's do you get any induction noise just off boost? I ask this 'cause when using my growler without the turbo inlet muffler (FG of course) it gets quite a bit of 'sucking' noise just off boost, even with light pedal. When into it it's fine - nice spool etc. When you put the inlet muffler back on you lose the annoying (for my) induction noises, but spool is reduced which I like.
