I'm sure there is quite a few Oils that would meet the specifications and more just a matter of trying them and finding out what works best I guess?

I tried a few and am happy now with what I use and don't need to test anymore for now at least. Although I believe Castrol have a new oil out that might be even better so maybe I might try that on my own Trans one day soon.??

yeah your better off not mixing oils, initially it takes abit more because you can never get all the oil out of the converter. It costs abit the first time but you should be right after that. you drain as much as you can, fill, drain & refill with short runs between the flush to get as much out as possible. There may be another way but that's what we did for a mate of mine & because I had a 20l drum just lying around. The penrite oil made it do funny things but after the change to transmax z all is well.

I still owe you for that drum too, I'll try to fix you up before you fly out again.

Got a bit (400ml ish) out of the convertor by doing a 5 second startup of the motor with no oil in the box. Don't try this at home without a bit of research, but it worked well.

I dont think you can without removing the box. We just did multiple flushes to make sure we got as much oil out as possible
