Guest XR09 Guests Posted 20/11/10 07:20 AM Share Posted 20/11/10 07:20 AM Yeh we had them hear in September. Quite a lot. Would have been eight bikes, all DR's, 2 x 100 series 4WD. And two Hilux paddies. All trying to hide out the back of Coolum police station. Think small 20 square home on a half acre block. ha ha.They were after the gunga crops though. Geeze ya would spit putting all that time and effort into your crop only to have it siezed just as its starting to bud. All I know is its been dry as hell up here unless your into that skitzo shoite. Well at least we know they cant use liter sports bikes. Even the VFR does not have enough room under the seat for their purposes. They will have to have a top box for radio and other equipment they have to have. I do respect the law. Even when they slap me for being naughty. But using covert operations on the general public you are paid to SERVE. We are not the criminals. Yet we are treated like one. Who and what the F. It's a major money grab. Another legal way to rape poor Jonh Doe. Personally I think I have had enough. I have not had a speeding ticket in six years. And it was twenty five years before that I had one. But that was a biggy and five year loss. So my angst does not come from paying fines. it comes ffrom having my cival liberties taken away bit by bit. Quite simply, the Late model camira infront of that bike stayed at its speed. indicated by the policeman at 73. It did not slow down. nor did The bike that overtook the cop. It came in easy and stayed there for ages. FYI the only place that was a 60 zone is where he first picked up the bike. The distance between house, amount of roadway all play into what speed is dictated to an area. And the bike did not overtake the car. So would have that Comodore been doing 73 if that bike was a marked one or car ??? would the other guy 2 up have overtaken the wally. No again. A marked car or bike will do more to control speed on our road than ANYTHING else. Why didn't he pick up the comodore ??? Cause he thought, hoped the bike would do a runner. He is just as bad if not worse than any one else on the road.Covert = Bullsh*tHighway patrol = HypocyteC'mon wallies. You join to serve and protect. that's your creed isn't it. Well farken protect us. there are 2400 in the lower house that are raping and reaming us blind.

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 28/11/10 04:02 AM Share Posted 28/11/10 04:02 AM So does anyone know if these new Rodeo or what ever they call them now, utes can shoot forward through the windscreen ???? Yeah I know .... bugger. I had to drag a class all over the hills today. A little road riding course. I knew the boys were playing so I was good. And I was working. So anywho, Got back to the coast and needed fuel and to check the air in my front tire. I had dropped off all my student and was alone. Where I had to pull out from the servo is just after a blind crest. and I have to cross lanes to go right. No biggy. But for safety I give it a squirt just in-case someone is coming over the hill quickly. Which they do. Nothing much at all. Still in first and just a twist. I am on a bike. Next thing.... Bing.... there goes the flash. My eyes went down and I was on 72 in a 60. Looked in the mirror and yep a black Colorado. 2 big spotties with blue covers on them. I didn't see it flash again.remember I am on a bike and we have no front plate. The irony of it is, I have bought this bike dirt cheap form a mate who wanted to take off for south America before he has to go into the Academy. (police academy) And I only got the bike on Wed. night. I worked Thurs arvo and had kids sports and social life on Friday so I have not changed the ownership yet.He flew out on Saturday. Eeek.A simple ticket like this can make life hard for him. Well anyone thinking or joining the force. I have rung a couple of mates but they don't know for sure and said if it did not go off again I would not worry. easy for them to say they are in. I don't want to do the wrong thing by this guy. He is a good bloke. And did me a huge favor with the price. So what to do ???? If I go in and say. Hi I think I was speeding and you pinged me but I don't know if you got me..........GrrrrAnyone know for sure ??? Are they automatic ???? Bugger !!!!! There goes the wage for the day. Should have stayed in bed.

One of his comments was that these were definitely bidirectional photo takers.... coming or going - you're on the radar.
Guest XR09 Guests Posted 28/11/10 11:04 AM Share Posted 28/11/10 11:04 AM I can see how it could with that or any sedan. But this flash definately came from the back of the ute... from the canopy. To shoot forward it has to go through the back window of the canopy. The rear window of the dual cab ute. Through the front seats and front window. Cameras are good but that leaves to many variables for a mud dwelling gutter rat to use to ..... well grass cut the system to be blunt. I have no problem with paying the fine or losing the points. Have not had a ticket for six years, and before that 21st sept 1981. That few that yes I can remember every one.I just don't want to stuff this guys chance at what he wants to do. IB where are you ha ha give it too me ha ha sorry. But seriously I will go into the local tomorrow and fess up I think.

Guest XR09 Guests Posted 29/11/10 04:06 AM Share Posted 29/11/10 04:06 AM Yeah I was suprised it flashed. And there was no second flash. Like the bike does 0 to 100 in les than three second if you get a good launch. I was not up it, but enough so if someone flew over the hill I was not there for them to squish.I went into the local today and told my story, a newbie on the desk that I did not know. He did not care and would not provide any information. basically tough shoite you should not have been speeding. I don't know that I was to be honest. If I was it was like 63, 64 in a 60. So I went to this guys parents place and they are collecting his mail. If it comes in I will put that I was driving and he will not cop any greif I hope.Talk about tigers eating their young...pffhhht
