Hey Ben, I got 287.5 rwkw when tuned at C & V last week. (It did do 314kw, but detuned it.) I got a 100cpi racing cat of rapid (Chris) and fitted this in with the 3" exhaust. Sounds beefy :-)

This is about what I wanted for this tune. The car has standard auto 4 spd, so don't want to blow it up just yet :-) The guys at C & V said that the car just wants to make power, but not having fuel pump done restricts me a bit also. All other mods in sig

The CAT is the restriction, won't get much more by changing anything behind it.

Pretty sure the 3" dump can handle mid 300's, but you will need a good cat and exhaust behind it.

What are you chasing?

been signed up for a while but only just got my car. will be happy with mid 200's for a start. not sure how long that will last. I have bf mk2 so hopefully with 2nd cai, bigger cat, injectors & tune I should get close. I'll keep an eye out for a cat back exhaust.

cheers

You shouldn't have any dramas making 280 rwkw with those mods and stock exhaust.I would maybe do fuel pump as well. Wish I could afford to do mine :-)You have the ZF auto so you have no dramas there. IThere is x-force mild steel exhaust on ebay, can't vouch for them though. It would nearly be worth doing the cat back when you put the bigger cat in :-)

I managed 260 with standard cat, cooler, hole cut in front of air box, K&N filter, 42lb injectors and redback quad tip system (twin 2.5") on 10psi, so you should poo in mid 200's with cat and tune, might even get to 300 if you get rid of the centre muffler.

As higgo mentioned, he managed to get 287 @ 13PSI with a 3" exhaust and HF cat which would possibly have slightly smaller flow to the standard system, which is a valiant effort :spoton: .

Free the exhaust up and you can make more power from less boost. I make just over 300 @ 12PSI due to 4" dump and twin 2.5" system.

Only thing that will be holding you back will be the cooler for high 200's. I had a monza, and when I changed tot he HDi, I gained 30RWHP from the same tune.

Good luck modding :roflmbo: it's infectious and you will be hunting for 400RWHP (300KW) before you know it :sleepystuff:

Cheers,

Ben
