Had my t' fitted with new water pump on Tuesday, after being fixed for leak about a month ago. Ford technician put sealant all around pipe.

Also had transmission problem, thumping into 2nd on light throttle, has had 3 solenoids put in now & going to have new vavle body put in next week(sss trany). Any one else had problem's with the SSS?

Noticed a small puddle of coolant under my car this a.m. - it appeared to be leaking out of somewhere close to the underneath of the power steering fluid reservoir on the engine block side (definitely not power steering fluid, as its bright coolant green). My dealer replaced the water pump o-ring about 1500kms ago (at around 7500kms). Does my leak sound like it's again coming from the water pump? Sorry, I wouldn't know where in my crowded engine bay (XR6T) the water pump is! If not, any ideas? It goes back to the dealer tomorrow a.m.

Yes, it's almost certainly a recurrence of the o/ring coolant leak. See Fordtech's post earlier in this thread.

Re the definitive fix, my car was done today and my wife's is booked in for next week. The invoice mentions TSB 71/03

Cheers
