Ford technician put sealant all around pipe.Also had transmission problem, thumping into 2nd on light throttle, has had 3 solenoids put in now & going to have new vavle body put in next week(sss trany). My dealer replaced the water pump o-ring about 1500kms ago (at around 7500kms). Does my leak sound like it's again coming from the water pump? Sorry, I wouldn't know where in my crowded engine bay (XR6T) the water pump is! If not, any ideas? See Fordtech's post earlier in this thread.Re the definitive fix, my car was done today and my wife's is booked in for next week.
