Went to start my turbo this mourning and it started to turn over then just died... I turned it off then tryed to start it again and nothing.. Allthe acessories are working... Battery is fine and I ran my flash tuner through it and reloaded the tune.. Still didn't work!! I'm thinking starter motor.. But I'm not that mechanically minded so does any1 have any suggestions?? Cheers guys

Nah it doesn't turn over.. Yeh u can hear the fuel pump when it goes to the "on" position.. It just won't kick over.. How do I use my flash tuner to scan for fault codes?

Do you hear a noise like "tik...tik..tiktiktiktik.." when you are trying to start it or nothing at all?

Turn your lights on, if they die when you try to start the engine, its your battery.

did u play with any plugs near the head lights on driver side? I know there are those 2 big plugs male>female that need to be intact.

Else, id say starter motor. Call an auto elec.

Could be battery, spark or fuel delivery...

Good possibility it isnt, but just throwing it out there - its not common, in fact I havent heard or read of it happening before but it happened to me. Have your Crank Angle Sensor checked.

My ute was running fine, all of a sudden it wouldnt start.

Problem was, it wasnt throwing any codes when diagnosed.

Checked battery, spark & fuel system and it was only when literally everything was checked with a multimeter, we found out it was the CAS. Still to this day not quite sure why that happened, but it did.

Best of luck - let us know when you find out!
