Wanting to keep the sleeper and stock look, I was thinking of mounting a boost and maybe water temp guage at the bottom of the ICC where the tissue box holder is.

Has any one done this? If not I'll document my steps and do a write up.

Any comments?

Gday Dexter.

Sorry for the delay. I wasn't monitoring the htread.

Mad I hit a snag with the Car PC as the converter card I got has blown and I have to replace.

In any case, I received my guages. The boost one has a tube to the sender unit then a wire to the guage. Wire or tube the set up should be the same.

I intend to run wires through an access gromment in the firewall just to the left of the sterring colum. Your may be solid. Mine had a hole for the alrm cable.

As to fitment, the problem I see is that with them abouve the ICC they are in your line of site and easy to just sneak a peak at whereas down under the ICC you have too look down.

Anyway, I got a triple mounting plate from ebay for 18 bucks. I'll take a pick and post but I think the big issue is securing them there at the moment.
