Looking at buying new rears. Size at the moment are 275/30/19. Looking at the Bridgestone Potenza RE11 or Yokohama Advan sports. Any body had either of these? Or any other suggestions/ prices that you paid??

go semi slicks if u want to hold down the power.

bridgestone re050 or adrenalins for a awesome street tyre has great grip (not for launching powerful cars) and yeah. Pricey though.

What are you after in a tyre? And whats your budget? Use the search function as there are heaps of threads.

Want something that sticks pretty well, but needs to get reasonable km's too. Got a set of MT's for the strip, so just need a good grippy street tire. Price doesn't matter a great deal but would like to keep it down as much as possible. Tried the federal semi slicks in the 245/18 only got 4000km out of the rears :fishin:

Speak to Hiro as he is doing great prices on the Kuhmo KU36's.

I have the Adrenalins on both my cars and they are very grippy but look to be wearing pretty quick.

Go the Yokohama Advan V103's.

A Gemballa Porsche set the fastest time around Nurburgring for a street registered car on V103's a few years back...........say no more.

I have them fitted to both my cars.

Advan V103's are a great tyre, only really bettered in performance by the new Neova's but they are a semi / track tyre.

My 2 sets of advans have lasted 30K + each with 300rwkw including an advanced driving day on each set. they really handle some torture, and take just a couple of minutes to stick like crap to a blanket.

about to replace this set, and most likely will get them again.

expect to pay $400 per tyre fitted and balanced for 18"

I had the 275/19 advan sports great tyre, but struggled with the manualised auto and 360rwkw street tune, but most tyre's would, then went all out and put the new advan neova ad08's semi's 275/19 on and wow the best tyre ever!! I love them stick like there is no tomorrow!! awesome tyre
