My rears lasted some 20000 and a lot of those were in a spot if you know what I mean, but I replaced them before I really had to because I wanted more grip, went to Falken FK452 a lot more grip and less life. I think you need the stickyest tyres you can find.

bjcrown Donating Members 182 Member For: 19y 2m 22d Posted 04/04/10 12:50 AM Share Posted 04/04/10 12:50 AM (edited) Guys,I have a BA MKII Turbo with factory 17" rims. Car is stock with a tune about 240kw at the rear wheels.I going to get myself DBA4000 front slotted rotors with QFM LTM003 pads.I hear Michellin's PS3's are a very good tyre (about $255 per side). I'm thinking of going with 18" rims but these tyres cost about $445 per side - which I'm not willing to pay. Hence, am I better off sticking with the 17" rims with PS3's OR should I get myself 18" rims but with say Maxxis MZ1 tyres? Which setup is best for grip? What do you guys suggest? The site is Canadian, however it has a large range of tyres with reviews from people that purchased them... It is an interesting read.... SUV's and Light trucks are at the top..
