As Aaron said earlier somewhere, Grevillea (?) Park is supposed to have some nice area's for photo's too... and someone mentioned the Beach near the museum.... I will have to check it out of course. I will do that next weekend with the Astina crew.

But this weekend, it's off to MOTORSHOW and merchandise..... muahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!

The worst part is I have money.......

Can you feel that tingling sensation.... it's my plastic card whippin out hand...... :D

*did someone say whippin?*

Back on track with ya's.... Anyway, we are leaving Canberra for Bruce's first big trip tomorrow afternoon.... see you on the road people!!!!

*grins*

So, this is getting a little closer and I'm wondering if we (the Sydney contigent) should be thinking of the meeting place and departure time?

If you let us know, Miss Kitty, exactly where and when we (the Sydney contigent) are going to meet you guys (the Canberra contingent) we can plan things.

I'm thinking we could meet at Mt Annan Woolies (again) and then head on down the road (hway) ... just not sure who from Syd is coming and what time we should gather?

Any thoughts ... MissXR? Anybody? :geek:

Here Kitty Kitty... C'mon puss... I've got some yummy milk for you... Here puss...

Typical cat - only turn up when they want something from you

Ken, I think I might be able to go on this one. But I have very little idea where Mt Annan is, let alone the Woolies... We really need to know what time to meet the others in Canberra, then work backwards :bookworm:

Yep, that's why I posted ... if we can figure out how many from Sydney and where they're coming from ... and, what time to meet in Canberra ... then we can organise a meeting time in Sydney for the journey south.

Directions to Mt Annan are simple, if you can find the F5 you're almost there! I'll post details closer to the date if we decide this is a good place to gather prior to the leg south.

.... here puss puss puss ... where is that damned cat!

You spend all that time stroking them and they just give you the arse! :bookworm:

That's because modet cats are calender cats:

They always have their date showing!

With this run I intend to be there.

I will probably just drive out of the Batcave directly to Canberra (via Fyshwick for some Britney DP action....just for Ken)

I will make more inquiries when the time comes,

Someone called... or should I say hollered?

Have no fear, Kitty is here....

All will be revealed.... well, location wise....

It's still three weeks away.... suffice it to say that you will be coming in on the Federal Highway, and someone will meet you somewhere.....

Personally I was thinking to get everyone to meet up at Kamberra Winery.... there is a set of lights to turn off the highway, is well signposted, you can get out and stretch your legs, say g'day to everyone, have a look at something touristy and FREE, have a wine tasting and there is a big carpark.

What do the "Canberra Contingent" think?

From,

Puss in Boots (with whip!)

I personally havent got a problem with meeting up at Kamberra Winery, but have you asked Kamberra if its OK with them?

I can ask Gregory's in at Braddon, or even Mitchell (I work there) if we get stuck. I know GFITC wouldnt have a problem with us using them as a common meeting place.

Did somebody mentioned something about Britney?

I wouldn't think Kamberra would have a problem if we were going to drop in, they are open to the public after all.....

They might make some sales after all......

Depends on how big the group gets.

I wouldn't get everyone to meet up at Gregory's in Braddon, I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of the advertising.... Mitchell on the otherhand were great to us, and were really nice folk.

But Braddon...... don't get me started on those prats.....

I will look into Kamberra, if they are open to the public, then we are the public, and I figure there surely is no problem with that?

Cheers (hic!)

(besides, all the passengers might enjoy a free sample or two :D )

Maybe just a polite phone call saying who you are, where you are from and what you are planning? If I was the proprieter of Kamberra I would certainly appreciate it, and there would be nothing more embarassing than being asked to leave because you didnt have permission to be there.

I know its a public place, but I would like to think myself (and all other XR owners) will be welcomed back to the winery after the wekend!!!
