It puts everyone on a level playing field so that you can compare apples with apples. If tuned correctly you are hardly putting your engine at risk. So lets see what you can do on pump fuel. This will sort the men from the boys.Whilst race fuel is fine for a race car, it is hardly relevant for a street car.how is this going to sort the men from the boys, it is putting my engine at risk because you are tuning alot closer to the edge for pulp, I said I was coming for fun on race fuel not to compete,I didnt build my car as a street car, I built it to race, that's why I use race fuel. as I said before at close to 1000hp it only takes a tiny little detonation to cause possible big problems,I said I didnt wanna push it on pump fuel and spiro has still asked me to come along anyway, pushing hard on pulp is taking a big risk I really cant afford to fix, but hey if someone wants to put up a motor for me ill push it as hard as it will go Edited 24/03/10 03:43 AM by DUS12

Then we can all appreciate the work that has been put into a purpose built race engine.

There are only a limited number of spots in the comp so leave that to someone who goes with the rules.Anyone can get power using race fuel. You may have a strong engine but not necessarily a well built engine.that's where the men from the boys comes in. Its building an engine that pushes the detonation threshold further up the power band. Most engine builders dont even consider this. The lame excuse that you might blow up your engine is just boys talk. Everyone is in the same boat and any decent tuner will tune with a safety margin. If you want the ultimate trophey this is the one to get.

He stated and so has Spiko its purely an exhibition run and everyone loves to see big powered cars no matter what fuel they use. Using race fuel is just like bolting a turbo onto your car or using n2o. Its another power adder and it to has its limitations. I personally wish I could be there to see any of these big powered cars reach there full potential on whatever fuel. ( wow who`s typing like the bogan?? ) can be arranged.I`m sure Paul and the crew could be persuaded to help at a later date.
