I think I'll join into this one.

Pesonaly I like dark colours so I would choose a darker colour second hand car id I were to buy one. So this means that the green, the black and the silver is in my list. I would sit there for a while and probably decide that black is too dark and that green is too well  , then I would look at the siver XR and go :innocent: this is the one for me.

I've never bought a car with an eye on resale and I hope I never will!

I bought mine thinking about resale because Ford will drop BluePrint, Acid Rush, Blood Orange etc come the model update. They will always do red, black etc. Three years after AR, BO & BP or what ever are dropped, people will be able to look at them and know that the cars are 3 yrs old.

If you don't believe me, look at the said Tiger Gold VTs driving around. You stright away know that the car is years old now, even though the VT shape has dated well.

Having said that, a regretted ordering venom until the car actually turned up. I was a bit worried it would look boring and wished I'd ordered Blood Orange.

Ulitimately, if you want a car with good resale, and that's your only consideration, buy a VW or Subaru.

I chose the ever discreet colour of BLOOD ORANGE as I like to blend in!!!

I originally ordered the PHANTOM but after seeing the Blood Orange I just had to have it!!

I think (hope) that Blood Orange will be a popular colour in the future, I've got mine on a "T" but it looks sensational on a GT!!!

Not sure if this will stir a pot of bees but I recently heard "Silver the New White, everyone has one!!!"

I find it weird that Congo Green was dropped from the pallete.

It seemed to be one of the most popular cars in the EF-EL XR's.

Today I saw an XRT in Congo Green, was surprised how good it looked in the flesh.

Just a thought.....

black ..... beautiful

I agree. My other car was black, and shades show up real well. The downside is that paint scratches show up easily and can be seen a mile away.

I went for Silver this time around 'cos it's I reckon it looks just as good, but didn't want two black cars in teh garage. Plus, paint scratches will blend in this time. :D

Anyhow, resale consideration was not a factor for me as well when I brought my car. It was just by coincidence.

They dont call it "Resale Red" for nothing.

Having said that, I tossed between Phantom and Blood orange (chose Phantom) because they are XR exclusive colours. Placid Rush and others come on any old Falcon you choose.
