Guest Cosmo Guests Posted 07/10/03 10:22 AM Share Posted 07/10/03 10:22 AM There seems to be alot of Colour Wars going on at the moment ;So to add fuel to the fire what do you think would be the best colour from a resale perspective.I think the BluePrint will resell a lot better as this would be more attractive to your younger drivers who cant afford to go out and buy new. What do you you all think ? Redhawk ....Time to lay this fairytale aside...... Donating Members 2,657 Member For: 21y 8m 20d Gender: Male Location: In the Ferry on the River Styx, not getting out just yet! Posted 07/10/03 10:59 AM Share Posted 07/10/03 10:59 AM Guy here in Perth had his Blueprint on the market for three weeks longer than mine, auto, leather, 18" wheels, quite a bit spent on it. Sold it the other day for the same price as mine. So I would say HgAg is the better for resale.

Guest P'cisT Guests Posted 07/10/03 12:53 PM Share Posted 07/10/03 12:53 PM Yeah, definately agree with the silver, black, white theory. They are always the most popular colours out of all cars as well. And when you look back at older colours and their more extreme colours, you see that they start to wear off after a while and just don't blend in with societies newer cars/colours. I'm not overly fussed on metallics but they seem to be everywhere these days.I really prefer coloured shades in the older style like Plum Crazy (Purple) Hemi Orange (self exp.) SubLime, Bondi Bleach White, Mercury Silver (Chrysler had it first!), Hot Mustard etcThese were solid colours however they went out of favour purely because they required lead in the paint, not because fashion changed. To do those colours now, paint technology has changed so that lead is no longer required. How about it Ford, what about some GT-HO specials in Moffats Bathurst winning BRAMBLES RED !!
