tyres are the main downfall as I replace my rears every year at best which kinda gets annoying and if your running your car hard it takes its toll on the rear end in my opinion diff bushes wear fast, but even with that I still love having my 350rwkw and drive it everyday

Ok, I have been right thru the 300 range for some time now and honestly its the maintenance that is the con in my eyes.

If you're like me (picky) and want the car to remain tight/quiet/smooth.. get the wallet out as it costs you constantly. Yes you could just follow the service book and fix things as you MUST when they completely fail; but it'd be a pretty fast bucket of **** within 1-2yrs if you drive it everyday like I do.

I don't want to think about how much money I have spent on upkeep over the last 9 months.. ill stop now before I scare myself (and maybe others)

only downside is the police. they got me within 2 months of getting my ute and gave me six months on the foot falcon and $933 fine. that said it is a heap safer to overtake busses and caravans on the highway in the turbo ute than my deisel hilux

There is no down side I recon with abit of common sense except you get used to 300kw & then 400 & so on. Can very quickly become a money pit. Once ya start its hard to stop.
