I felt sick watching skye's (lowlife scums girlfriend) family on TV saying it is the police's fault and that the lowlife scum was friends with the family he killed.

When the reporter asked why it was not the drivers fault, they said he was a good guy who did crimes, but "they" the police should not have chased him.

I cannot understand how these people can possible think that this scumbag is not 100% to blame in this whole matter. I want to drive down to Canberra and belt some sence into these girls. The media are trying to get politicians and public to ban persuits, they are running poles on "should police persuits be allowed ?" I mean how can people even consider this.

Do they think that all people are dumb ?

This makes me so mad that we live in a country run by civil libertarians and minority rules. We all need to harden the f..k up and start to get popular majority rules and put these leftie iddiots to crawl back under their rocks and shut up.

I have to drive through that intersection on my way to and from work, and seeing the scene of the crash was a very sobering experience to say the least. It's a very sad situation for the innocent family killed, but slightly ironic that they were killed by a person they knew.

I can't believe the few people on here criticising the police actions... Also, for the people that aren't aware, due the proximity of Queanbeyan to the ACT, NSW cops stationed at Queanbeyan are often sworn in as special constables to the AFP so that they can cross the border if need be. So the chase was 'legal' and by the sounds of it the cops did exactly what they are employed to do!

Regardless of whether the cops chased him or not, he'd still drive in a manner dangerous (lets face it, he was a f*ckwit)... He obviously didn't learn from the first time he was in a coma! If only he never woke from that incident, this incident never would have happened! And what if the cops saw him speed through an RBT, and didn't chase him, only for the same outcome to happen? What would be said then? The cops would be crucified for NOT trying to stop him...

At the end of the day, this was a guy who had absolutely no regard for his or anyone elses life. It's just a shame that he's ruined so many other peoples lives because of his own selfish attitude.

Until the courts get tough, or until the coppers are allowed to use more force, people will continue to run. Here's hoping that with technological advances it'll become easier to track and locate criminals without the need for a pursuit.

Justin Williams had already put himself in coma after crashing stolen car

Justin Williams had already put himself in coma after crashing stolen car | News.com.au

My mates car was the one this POS stole last year. A twin-turbo 300zx with over 400kw. He took it out on the highway for some burnouts and a speed test when his driving skill was vastly outnumbered by the cars power and he wrote it off, nearly killing himself - too bad he didn't do it then when there was no one else to injure.

The cops said the skid marks were a couple hundred meters long indicating how fast he was going at the time. The cops also said he had a nice long criminal record before that incident too.

So this oxygen (and car) thief gets out of his coma and at the first available opportunity does it yet again, killing three innocent people in the process. He was never going to learn.

It’s not the cops fault, it’s his fault! He needs to be responsible for his actions! Law abiding citizens stop, junkie criminals don't. It's pure ignorance to blame the police. Maybe blame the courts for not having this shyte-bag in jail already but not the cops.

I don't usually like speak ill of the dead but I hope you rot in hell you phucking khunt - I hope you spend the rest of your days getting sodomised with a wire brush... :beerchug:

RIP - to the poor innocent family.

Couldn't agree more Sly. Let's get your election campaign started hey?

No. They'll instigate an inquiry that will take about three years and cost around $5M that will result in more hands being tied and more red tape to make it harder for enforcement and easier for the scum that cause all this sh*t in the first place.

In the interim all the do-gooders will use the tragedy to push their own agendas with total disregard to any resemblance of logic.

And the fact remains that the pursuit was called off before this all happened. Maybe if they had of kept the chase going this incident wouldn't have occurred, the vehicle that got cleaned up would have been more alert to the speed of the offender with flashing lights and sirens right behind him.

I hope you are wrong Tab, but then again maybe you're right!
