I tried going from the reds to aux and no luckNah, just put the key in and smoothly go from there to ignition lights (not start) You don't have to do it in micro seconds. Just nine times nice and smooth. Don't know why nine times it's just what it says in the manual to do. Worries me what it might blow flashing on and off that many times. So it is a toss up as to whether it's worth it. I guess it depends on how many gates you have to go through.
