I have rapid v3 setup on my car and am running a Turbosmart Kompact Dual Port(25mm) series BOV. Just wanted to know if I have correctly set it up

It is vented to atmo through the trumpet side. The other port that allows it to be plumbed back to cai, I have just put one of those mini breather filters from supercheap auto on it, should this just be blocked off instead?? and does it make a difference? my tuner didn't mention it when I got the car dynoed like 4 months ago.

Mate I have the same BOV...I took off the trumpet and put the plumb back fitting on and plumbed it into my UB CAI..The other side I screwed the blanking plate into..Cant hear the BOV over the induction dose from the UB CAI.. Least having it plumbed in MR Po Po cant do you for the BOV venting to atmosphere... :innocent:

Forgot about that little blanking plate when I installed the BOV, luckily I kept the box and found it was still in there. I'm just going to keep it venting to atmo, because I really didn't like the look of having that big F$%# off pipe across the front of the engine bay haha.

Apparently it isn't entirely illegal to have it vent to atmo on the XR6ts as they don't have an AFM like skylines, etc (there was a thread on this a while back) but I guess explaining that to a cop doesn't always avoid a yellow canary.
